Day 9 - Sunday June 19th

Weather - Heatwave hits London 32.7 degrees! Dunno how many died!?

Arrived in London to the first of our many queues - and just to get into the spirit of Eng-er-lund, a whinge. Can you tell me why, as a member of the commonwealth, that when I come to visit my Queen, I have to line up in the lengthy snaking 'other' queue, whereas US citizens get to go in the short UK residents queue. (Just asking!)

Took the tube from Heathrow, one small line change and then we were at the station closest to Jason and Alaina's place in Stamford Brook. We were greated with a great breakfast, did some washing and flaked on the couch. After that it was tube to Southbank and a lovely walk along the Thames (in the opposite direction of a charity march at one point, so that was fun). Then off to the Liberty Bound for a few pints with some of our many friends who live in London. After many laughs, Cory was almost comatose (with tiredness, but the alcohol didn't help) so we headed home.
