Day 11 - Tuesday, June 21st

Weather - Great day - Mid to high 20's. Nice sun, but not too hot with a cooling breeze.

Had another big day today. Took the tube from Jason and Alaina's to the London Eye and took a 'flight' (as they call it). Quite impressive, but don't feel the need to do it a second time.

We then walked down Southbank looking at various sights (recreation Drake's ship, the new Shakespeare Globe Theatre etc) and walked through the Tate Modern. As per usual, some of it was great and most of it looked like something that either a Kindergardener had done, or something to check the latest hues from Dulux.

Continued on, walked over the Tower bridge and then the big tour of London Tower. Very impressive, and very gory. Gotta love the British tradition of beheading their national heroes.

After that, it was off to a bar to meet up with Chook (headed back to Aust today) and Anne and Ralph. A great Indian takeout and back to the tube to head home.
